Hello and welcome to my website. Here’s my story so far.

I launched my brand, Skylark Live, in 2005 after working for many years in media and entertainment with HBO, CBS, Viacom, Tommy Boy Records, Electra Records, and The Harry Fox Agency. I also worked for many years in the art and design field starting with graphic designers, Danne & Blackburn. In 1975, they were a young firm who won the bid to revamp the identity program for NASA. The Worm logo emerged, and the rest is history. This logo is recognized around the world and has a cult following. This was my first job in New York City after graduating college, and it remains my most proud.

I was raised on the creative and performing arts and as a child, I used to dance in our living room and put on shows for my family. I had costumes and boas and high-heels. I wanted to be a Broadway dancer. My mother took me to see Pippin when I was 15 that featured Ben Vereen. When he stepped out from behind the curtain, I was smitten. Now, I keep in touch with him on Instagram. And, no, I didn’t become a Broadway dancer, but I did launch my own brand in 2005. I am a Personal Shopper and Consultant for Interior Decorating Accessories. I also enjoy writing, vlogging, doing voiceover and singing.

I am passionate about gardening and interior decorating. I love to bring nature inside with rustic elements that include stone, glass, wood, wicker, and wrought iron. Flowers and branches can create an outdoor feel inside that adds color and dimension. I collect sea shells from beaches I’ve been to, and they add an exotic touch to interiors as well. They are natural china.

I write a weekly newsletter, 60 and Beyond with Skylark, that features articles on a variety of topics designed to inspire and motivate women over 60 to thrive in mature aging through knowledge and self-awareness. There is a section on Interior Decorating that will feature tips on accessorizing and news in the industry.I also record a monthly vlog on my YouTube channel, Skylark Live, where I review my newsletter articles and introduce a new topic.
